Now, get excited because we’re screening our award-winning documentary Mantra - Sounds into Silence at the super-venue, The United Palace on October 27, followed by live kirtan by Grammy-nominated Kirtan artist Krishna Das, accompanied by Nina Rao.
Mantra - Sounds into Silence charts the history, effect and phenomenon of chanting. This is a movie about connection and finding ways to create a more peaceful and loving world together. Experience the film like never before on a 50-foot screen with surround sound in one of NYC’s most stunning theaters! Then join us for a community gathering and performance by Krishna Das.
Presented by the United Palace, Kirtan Wallah Foundation, and Call and Response Foundation. This event is an official pre-Parliament event of the Parliament of the World's Religions taking place from November 1-7, 2018 in Toronto.
